Supported Reclined Bound Angle! Lie back over a bolster, soles of the feet together, knees wide, supported by blocks. Arms open, eyes closed. Breathe slowly. Stay several minutes. Deeply relaxed gnome.

Works on Inner thighs · Hip flexors · Chest

How to do it

  1. Prop a bolster behind you, lean back onto it and bring the soles of the feet together.
  2. Place a block under each knee and let the arms rest open.
  3. Soften the hips and the jaw and breathe slowly; stay a few minutes.

Common mistakes

  • Don’t force the knees: add blocks under them.
  • Don’t strain the neck.
  • Don’t hold the breath.

Benefits

  • Lets the body rest and the breath slow down.
  • Eases tension and tiredness.
  • A good way to end a practice.

Take care: Use cushions or blankets so nothing strains. Come out slowly if you feel lightheaded.

Not medical advice. Ease off if anything feels sharp or wrong.
