Works on Shoulders · Triceps · Core

How to do it

  1. Start in a squat with the hands on the floor and the feet wide.
  2. Place one thigh on the back of the upper arm and balance on the hands.
  3. Extend the other leg back and lift the head and chest; hold, then release and switch sides.

To come out, lower the extended leg, bring the feet down and rest in a squat.

  • Opens the hips.
  • Develops balance and courage.

Make it easier or different

  • Easier: rest the extended foot on the floor.
  • Support: place a pillow in front of the face.
  • Start with Side Crow before moving here.

Take care: Skip with wrist, shoulder or neck injuries, and warm the wrists first.
