Reclined Bound Angle! Lie on your back, bring the soles of the feet together, and let the knees fall wide. Support the knees with blocks if needed. Hands on the belly or open wide. Breathe softly. Relaxed butterfly gnome.

Works on Adductors · Hip flexors

How to do it

  1. Lie on the back and bring the soles of the feet together.
  2. Let the knees fall open and rest the arms alongside, palms up.
  3. Soften the hips and breathe slowly; support the knees with cushions if they pull.

Common mistakes

  • Don’t force the knees down.
  • Don’t arch the lower back: bring the feet farther away.
  • Don’t hold the breath.

Benefits

  • Lets the body rest and the breath slow down.
  • Eases tension and tiredness.
  • A good way to end a practice.

Take care: Use cushions or blankets so nothing strains. Come out slowly if you feel lightheaded.
